Friends Of Bricknell

We are a friendly group of parents and teachers who meet every 2 or 3 months.

We co-ordinate and run fundraising events, to raise funds for the School to provide your children with laptops, computer programs, digital cameras, the playground equipment and mulch ( which has to be renewed regularly), along with subsidising payment for travel on school trips and a variety of other items, which all benefit and enhance your child’s learning and enjoyment at school.

In order for us to put on the events we need your help to assist with the setting up, running and tidying away. We would also appreciate new ideas for fundraising. The type of events we put on include Film Nights, Quiz, Raffles, Summer Fair, Christmas Fair etc.

You all have different areas of expertise, please come and share them with us. We are not asking for hours of your time but a small input can go a long way to secure the continuation of the Friends of Bricknell.

Our meetings are held on a Tuesday evening every 2 or 3 months, in the Staff Room, they start at 6.30pm and normally last no longer than 1 hour.

Meetings are advertised on newsletters, school website, notices on the gates and text messages.
