Awards and Accreditations

At Bricknell, we welcome the opportunity to have external specialists in school to quality assure our SEN and Pastoral provision, ethos and practice across the school. We have recently been very successful in gaining accreditation in some areas, and are in the process of working towards awards in others. These are:

– Attachment and Trauma Sensitive Schools Award achieved in November 2020. Awarding letter below.

– Headstart Mark of Excellence Award achieve September 2021. Awarding letter below.

– Schools of character Kitemark to be attained in March 2022. Association for Character Education (character-education.org.uk)

– Wellbeing in Schools Award to be attained in March 2022 WAS – Wellbeing Award for Schools | AwardPlace

– NAS National Autistic Society Accreditation Autism Specialist Award to be completed by December 2022.
