Year 1: Maps & aerial photographs
Overall Objective: To explore and identify key features of the school by using aerial photographs and maps, helping pupils to understand the layout and important landmarks within the school environment.
Learning Outcome: Pupils will be able to look at aerial photographs and maps and use these to correctly identify key features and areas of the school, such as the playground, classrooms, and main entrances. This activity aims to develop their understanding of map reading and recognising physical structures from different perspectives.
