Year 3 Science
Year 3 students enjoyed an enriching science visit to Normanby Hall, where they delved into the fascinating world of plants. Surrounded by the beautiful gardens and woodlands, the trip provided the perfect opportunity for hands-on learning and exploration of nature.
During the visit, the children learned how to identify a variety of plants, from towering trees and colorful flowers to tiny mosses and ferns. They practiced using identification guides to recognize different species and discussed the unique features that help plants thrive in different environments. The students were especially excited to explore the walled garden and woodland areas, where they could see firsthand how different plants adapt to varying conditions.
