Year 5 Science
Year 5 had an out-of-this-world experience during their visit to the National Space Centre! The trip was a fantastic opportunity for the students to expand their knowledge about Earth and space while exploring fascinating exhibits and interactive displays. From the moment they arrived, the students were captivated by the wonders of the universe, learning about planets, stars, galaxies, and the incredible technology used to explore space.
They had the chance to walk through the impressive Rocket Tower, where they learned about the history of space travel and saw real spacecraft up close. The students were amazed to discover how astronauts live and work in space and enjoyed trying out some hands-on activities that helped them understand the challenges of life beyond our planet.
